Planning a Trip to Dearborn, MI
Being from Chicago, I’m surprised I’ve never taken a weekend jaunt to the Detroit area. Cars, Motown, and industrial decay. That’s worth seeing right?
And Dearborn has Greenfield Village, which as a history buff, I hear about and wow over and seem to eventually forget. For such an awesome concept, it doesn’t have much promotion. (I’ll describe it more in a future visit post.)
So this winter, as I was brainstorming spring trips, Dearborn and Detroit came up again. Luckily, I had a friend, also a history fan, who had the same thought. So we’ve decided on an extended weekend trip to the area. What follows is the travelogue and reviews.
