Ms. Smarty Pants Know It All

Congratulations to Stephanie Izard for winning Top Chef Chicago. She’s been a strong and consistent front runner from the very beginning of the season. It was a pleasure for me to watch her and Richard Blais compete professionally and like emotionally mature adults the entire way. They both focused on their own work rather than fall into the usual reality-show histrionics trap.

In general, this class and level of talent is what sets Bravo’s reality shows apart from the rest of the pack.

Stephanie’s former Chicago restaurant has unfortunately closed its doors, but the website is still up. We can all see what we’ve missed and may look forward to in the future.
