It's a self-contained mystery that really plays out like a noir movie except the world-weary, smart-mouthed, hard-drinking, Sam-Spade detective is a teenage girl. The other seasons fall off, sometimes quite a bit (relatively), but the strength of the Veronica Mars character kept me coming back for each new season. Dan, I feel that the strongest season was the first season. Would it stand up to getting the box sets?
