Art: The Dude Show at Blue Line Studio
This Saturday is the opening night for Blue Line Studio’s latest art show. As a companion event to the annual ChicArt show, the gallery will be featuring the works of fifteen male artists (and four female artists) this month.
The scheduled men include: Lee Berkson, George Berlin, Thomas Gaunt, Peter Hagerty, Jeriah Hildwine, Rick “Fish” Janes, Andrew Krzak, Kevin Lahvic, Roberto Lopez, Jesse Morgan, Gabriel Patti, Glenn Steward Sr., Bill van Werden, Christian Villacres, and Todd Willing.
The honorary dudes include: Alice Brozofsky, Batya Hernandez, Naomi Martinez, and Julie Wishmeyer.
Opening night is sponsored by the Illinois Arts Council. The Logan Square restaurant bonsoiree is providing amazing hors d’oeurves so get there early for the free tasting.
Additional entertainment will be provided by Sweatpants Money. This trio plays intelligent dance music while a live video mix projects in the background to compliment the music. They were a big hit at the April show and are back by popular demand.
As usual, opening night is the only night to feature free food, drinks, entertainment, and lots and lots of art. The next two Saturday nights will accept donation amounts of $10 or what you can.
