Aw, I shipped Chief and Cally too. But that storyline didn't make her character become as defined as I would have liked. Compare Cally with Ellen, who I always felt had a point of view, whether I liked her or not. If feels like Cally as a character has untapped potential. That's why I would like to see her back. I would also like to see her back because then I would be right. :)

I've always loved Cally (I have to admit, I went to the official page to find out how to spell it, since I'd seen it spelled so many different ways). She was the mousey, non-decript worker bee smitten with the boss. I could identify with her(except for the mitten with the boss thing-none of my miriad of bosses were ever that interesting). When she and the Chief hooked up, I was happy for her. When they had Nicky (ironic, huh?), I was happy for her. When they were having marital problems, I felt her pain. And when we found out the Chief was a Cylon, I worried for her. rightly so. But the idea that she might be one of the Five is very intriguing. It gives me hope. Which is what this show is all about.

Oh interesting a completely Cylon baby... now that would be something else, it never occurred to me Callie could be a Cylon, but then again look at Tigh who would have thought he'd end up being a Cylon. But somehow I suspect it will be one of the major characters, but that is just a hunch.
